Las Nubes is a refined and aromatic Colombian Geisha from Hernando Tapasco in Pereira, Risaralda. Honey and lemongrass open the cup with a delicate, floral warmth, giving way to soft peach through the middle and a lively citric acidity over a smooth, creamy body. Precise, layered, and quietly captivating — this is what a washed Geisha looks like in the hands of a specialist.

Brew Guide

This lot is produced by Hernando Tapasco in Pereira, Risaralda — a Q Processing Expert and Q Arabica Grader recognised for the distinctive, controlled ferments he runs across all his lots. Las Nubes follows his signature method, beginning with a 120-hour whole cherry fermentation in small 33kg containers, held below 20°C to encourage a slow anaerobic ferment driven entirely by the fruit's own native lactic bacteria and yeasts.

Once that first ferment is complete, the coffee is de-pulped and returned to the containers for a further 24 hours in parchment before being washed and dried. This additional step is what sets Las Nubes apart — building clarity and sweetness in the cup without sacrificing the Geisha variety's signature floral character. The result is a coffee that is both structured and expressive, with depth that reveals itself gradually through each cup.
